One of the greatest joys in my life is producing music for New-Beat. It poses many challenges, but when
those challenges are met, the feeling of satisfaction is absolutely fantastic!

I have been interested in recording since I was a little boy with a home cassette recorder. I can remember
recording my cousin snoring loudly in a chair. It got lots of laughs from the family when played back. You
could say that was the moment I was "hooked".

All though the teenage years and beyond, there seemed to be a need to find better and more complicated
recording equipment. In my early 30's, I took a course in recording technology held in a local recording
studio. I loved every minute of it. At the time, there was no where to practice my new skills except when I
got a call to come play guitar on a commercial or some such. Then it happened...The opportunity to make
square dance music for New-Beat!

It is a labor of love, but requires one to "learn something new every day". Recording technology has come
a long way from the days of big reel-to-reel tape machines and huge boards with literally hundred of
knobs and buttons. The world of recording is digital and computer-based. The beauty of this: I can run NB
Studios right here in a spare room at home! NB Studios has slowly become a "full-service" recording studio.
Our sound gets better with each new tune, and as my own recording "journey" progresses.

I could not ask for a better group of guys to work with than Soren, Carsten, Nils and James. We have so
much fun together. I can tell you they are all wonderful guys with wonderful families.

Boys...if you read this, I will say in front of every eye that sees this page: Thank You for your faith in me! You
are the best.
